Asian American Civic Trust (AACT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to civic engagement and leadership development.

We cultivate the next generation of leaders, identifying youth potential and equipping them with the skills, networks and opportunities to lead.
Through mentorship, education, and media initiatives we help young people understand how cities work and how businesses thrive within them.
By promoting shared values like public safety, teaching civic engagement and building strong networks, AACT strengthens the communities we serve.

Historically, the Asian American community has been underrepresented in all areas of leadership. In California, Asian Americans make up more than 18% of the population but hold fewer than 5% of executive positions in business and fewer than 7% of seats in political office. We aim to equip our community with the knowledge, skills and connections to engage effectively with civic institutions and help bridge this gap.

Through social media guides, news updates, community conversations and neighborhood outreach, we help residents understand how public decisions affect their daily lives and why their involvement matters. We foster emerging civic and business leaders through student programs, hands-on workshops, mentorship forums, and events that channel community generosity toward shared goals. By promoting public safety, supporting local businesses and raising awareness of Asian American values, AACT builds unity and turns awareness into lasting service.
